The holiday we took at Summerfields with the dogs was a really good experience. The surroundings were tranquil but things were near enough to ensure we all enjoyed a really good holiday.

We had a fabulous holiday, the location was great, the accommodation was surprisingly clean and modern, the entertainment was excellent (PJ and Dan are legends), the bar staff were friendly and provided a prompt service, the food in the diner was reasonably priced and delicious, the beach was lovely and the facilities close by were ideal........... and me and my husband came home having not argued for the whole week (now that has got to be a first). Just one request though - can you please move Summerfields Holiday Park closer to the Midlands so we can go there more often - if it wasn't a four hour drive we would be there all the time.
In all honesty we have spent the last 18 years taking the kids to Pontins, Butlins and Haven - this was our first visit to a Richardsons site and we are kicking ourselves for not realising how great these sites are earlier.

Fantastic immaculate site. Great accommodation and great service. Fantastic price too. Beach beautiful and only 3 mins walk. Very quite for those wanting peace and quite will come back again.

A great location as it is within easy walking distance of a lovely beach (pebbles and sand), and with a few shops to supply the essentials and a basic choice of take-aways and restaurants - which is just what you need and not spoiled by over-commercialisation. Easy access to Great Yarmouth and the rest of Norfolk when you want to do more.

We wanted a cheap and cheerful get away so booked the week before and got an excellent price. We were not expecting much but we were incredibly impressed when we arrived, particularly with the care taken to clean our chalet which was cleaned to an exceptional standard. It was a great weekend.

Having never stayed on a holiday park we were not sure what to expect but we had a great weekend. The accommodation was much better than expected especially considering the cost and it is a convenient location for the coast!

We have already recommended this park to a friend of ours with children because we think they would all enjoy it. We liked the fact that the kids play area was near the adult only bar, so while kids are playing the adults can enjoy a nice quiet drink but are not far away if the kids need the parents.
